The lived experience of women in the Best Workplaces for Women™
To capture what it means for women to be part of an organisation recognised as Best Workplaces for Women in 2023, we have conducted special interviews to get an exclusive insight. We have asked them the following questions:
Who are the Best Workplaces for Women™ in 2023?
These organisations develop and promote practices that make sure women in the workplace have a fair and positive work experience and have the opportunity to contribute their talents and develop personally and professionally. They strive to bring balance to the interview process; create networks for women to connect, inspire, mentor, and challenge each other; have development programmes that foster a strong pipeline of female talent; offer flexible working packages that employees can adapt to best suit their needs; and much more.
"We are delighted to announce the 2023 Best Workplaces for Women. Given the turbulent environment over the last couple of years, it is particularly special to be able to come together to celebrate this achievement with these organisations, and the people who work there. These are the workplaces that, while creating a Great Place to Work For All, are delivering a high trust experience for women in particular.
They hail from a range of industries and are supporting women at a variety of stages in both their professional and personal lives. We are particularly excited about our partnership with The Menopause Hub, which we hope will begin to pave the way for more menopause-friendly workplaces.”
-Fania Stoney, Business Development Strategist at Great Place to Work Ireland
Our partners
This year again, we have partnered with The Gloss. The Best Workplaces for Women will be promoted and get visibility through this partnership with The Gloss during a one-month campaign. They have the chance for a woman in their organisation to be interviewed about their lived experience as female employees and to share the unique ways that their organisation is supporting women in their workplace.
We are also delighted to partner with The Menopause Hub as part of Best Workplaces for Women. The Menopause Hub is an evidenced-based centre of excellence, on a mission to smash the taboo surrounding menopause. At their two clinics, women receive the help they need to live their lives to the full during menopause. And through their workplace programmes, women are benefitting from the support they need.
How to be recognised as a Best Workplace for Women™ in 2024?
To be considered the Best Workplace™ for Women, participating organisations are required to be Certified™ as a Great Place to Work first. The Certification™ is the first step towards any Great Place to Work recognition.
